Anyone want to have a shot at our round 1 league side, assuming we have a full squad to choose from?

How about throwing up your team mate?....Will Suban be used off a HBF or through the midfield? Any good young colts from last year in line for a league gig? Obviously Kelly will be a huge loss, be interested to see how Schloithe goes this year with his AFL aspirations dead and buried....SF forward line is definitely top 2 in the comp for options and quality....not many teams have multiple 40 + goalkickers parked in their forward line - Saunders, Shaw, Johnson and D'Olio....can see them doing damage again.....top 4 surely?.....anything less than that would be a monumental failure.....

If we can keep the side above on the park for the majoirty, then anything less than top 3 would be a failure

Pretty close to the mark mate. I would add K Russell & T Pickett to the Interchange.

My first look at the team V EP on the weekend and they looked ok.

Suban will certainly add to the midfield and defence when resting, Schloithe looked ok he appeared to be his ball winning best and covered the ground well, many people have speculated about his hunger atm he looks as though that is not an issue.
Solomon and Higgins in the ruck in tandem looked good. The midfield appeared organised and strong ,Forward line functioned well and will not have any problems kicking goals if given enough supply. Saunders, Johnson , Deollio , Shaw all played and looked dangerous.
The defence had a few youngsters in Noah Strom and Pearson in the absence of regular defenders in Pickett and Zac Strom. Both youngsters did not look out of place.
A bit difficult to draw a line through the quality of opposition that EP dished up as they did not have any AFL listed playing their team will look entirely different when they are included.
Looking forward to the final scratch match this Saturday V the Dee's. I would imagine our team will be very close to the one that will take the field in our first match.
