A new era has begun this season with Cookie stepping down as captain

Dylan Main is the captain with Mason Shaw his deputy

Cheers Ark, thought Carter had been skipper for longer.....good to see SF hand over the baton to two good local boys in Main and Shaw.....great to see Main recover from his WCE experience at EP.....from memory played a lot of EP reserves instead of league......touch wood Jordan Snadden can do the same at EF.

To be fair, Main did play a few games in the Reserves at Souths in 2016 and his total number of games for 2015 at East Perth are quite similar to those at the Bulldogs in 2016 (although the number of disposals in Red & White were much higher). www.wafl.com.au/players/view/4413
Great to see Main playing so well for the Bulldogs and hopefully Snadden can turn it on at the Sharks.

Noticed no mention of this in our ''so called local media''
Can we presume he has relinquished the captaincy, but is still playing on?
Hope he continues playing because he'd be a big loss to Souths.
Ryan Cook has done a fantastic job over the years. And well respected.
Good luck to South Fremantle and the new Captain.
