I think that was 1981, last game of the season. I only just started going to the footy with Dad in 81 but didn't venture too far away from Leederville, Lathlain and Perth Oval, we had a virtual reserves side that game I can recall, riddled with injuries.

Agree Higgins is our No1 , however still good to make them earn their recall. Competition for spots creates pressure and that is good for teams...

Embarrassing for our WP club to have players just not applying the effort required to be in competition with a team that wanted the win, second guessing themselves against confident in their ability to pressure and swing forward. Some interesting comparative results in the AFL this week so we have hope ahead (pleeeeeeese hahaha)
