Put up a pretty good fight but came up short regardless - looked like a pretty strong AFL stack we copped today

Comps tightened after today's results

This is the strongest side that the Ferals have fielded all season. I knew when I saw the teams that we were up against it today especially without Hamsy. We didn't play very well and only got beat under three goals. The bookies got the odds totally wrong.

Mind you the ferals did play two short the whole last half.The midfield was the strongest all year.Only doubt was Sheeds fitness and Redden's lack of form.I thought south were too timid in chipping it around rather then trying to use their leg speed and take the game on in the last quarter.

14 full time footballers always tough to beat and to beat them you need input from a majority of the team. We had far too many players down on their usual form and we're always chasing the game.
I thought we were still a chance at half time when the WART were down to only two rotations on the bench. But we just did not take our chances. Back to the drawing board this week V the Tiges.

Nobody mentions the 14 footballers when they win well.And we have been beaten by everybody bar swannies and perth but when teams lose against us it is the reason we win.Souf lost for two reasons.Didn't play well.Secondly you did miss the two duckers.

It's all on the day chaddy boy. They will not field a better AFL side all season. Mark my words.

You hit the nail on the head Roman.We may not have that midfield next week and it is how many of the 14 are actually quality players.The sharks caught us with most probably the weakest midfield and beat us.Still think it will be subi or soufs who will play the GF.
