Anyone go can give us the score and rundown? Every other scratch match scores have been reported. Any chance the Perth and Peel football clubs can post the results and a summary?

Sorry can't help you mate but if we didn't win by 10 it's season over.

Actually we lost by a point 13.11 to 13.10. Bad 3rd q cost us.

Sounds like a fair effort. Would you like know more details such as who played and who didn't?

All I’ve heard was we lost by a point. All details are a bit sketchy after that.

I can't add more sorry. Not being a smart arse but has communication actually gone backwards under new regime?

Not sure what you’re on about StT but communication from the club had been pretty good since November last year. They don’t put a lot of Facebook or twitter posts up on the weekend anyway, even during the season. Hopefully we here something via some platform tomorrow about how we went and who played etc by tomorrow afternoon.

I hope I'm wrong but I've got a feeling we might get spanked by WCE this Saturday.
They have very few injuries and with Gaff and possibly Rioli to come back this week that means 2 more players drop back to their reserves.

I too hope that you are wrong Cess but time will tell.
I am hoping for a good showing notwithstanding average form in the scratchies.
One thing to consider IMO is that West Coast ressies are not the same strength as they were under the EP alignment.
Under that alignment their top-up players included well established WAFL players, some with AFL experience. But now under the conditions that brought them into the WAFL comp in their own right their top-up players consist of a few ex WAFL players who never established themselves at WAFL level plus some amateur and perhaps an odd country player.
Gaff should be back for WCE but I think that Rioli may be out again. Duggan could be doubtful with a knee problem so he may have to be replaced. On the other hand Schofield and Cripps may be pushing for inclusion. If not they may have a run in the twos.
Whilst not completely confident I am looking forward to a strong performance from the Demon boys. We have to play whatever team that WCE puts on the park. A good test for us first up.

I'm concerned about the WC game. History has shown that where the aligned clubs have 15+ AFL players, they usually win. I think I read that in the pre-season game against EP, the Eagles had 15 AFL players, and if Cripps, Gaff, Rioli and Schofield are fit, they could field up to 17 against us. Apart from Brady Grey, the top up players are not up to league level. One saving grace is that the Eagles league is playing away so they will hopefully take a couple of emergencies.

Is Zareth Roe still around.
I haven't seen him in any scratchies.
