Anyone go yesterday can give us a summary? Who played where, who stood out?

Eyres, Rodgers, Leggett, Marlin, Colledge, CJ, Giblett, Bell, Yeo and Dennis did not play. Very young side that looked to be mainly made up of colts and ressies players.

Rodgers was the runner though and was very vocal in instructing players about setups and positioning.

DBW played in the ruck and looked to be moving around the ground nicely. Would like to see him against some real opposition in Swans and Claremont though. He could loom as a very important player for us this season.

Only saw the first half. As Mr AFL said, best 12 sitting on the sidelines.

I though my boy Nikita John was good across half back, little fella Mav Hamilton was impressive and hard at it and the big guy 22 for the Brissie Lions was good - was that Langdon? Noticed Mat Thompson out there as well barking orders from full forward. Magic Bennell and Kasey Nichloas did as they pleased at either end. Jacob Payne did some nice things as well.

Looks like Bryan will take the role McFarlane played across half back.

Byrne, Cary, Garstone, Hill, Lague, Levien, Narrier, Ninyette, Sinclair and Taylor also didn't play.

Burke was very good all game with solid contributions from M Bennell, Bodle, Browne, Bryan, Buckley, Edmonds, Gare, Horan, M Jones, Langdon (yes Dazzler, he was number 22), Mercer, Nicholas, Payne, Scotney and Thompson. Bryan and Langdon could be very handy pick ups.

Was impressed with the colts boys who have graduated to the senior squad including D Bennell, Casey, Davis, Hamilton, John and Sing.

Was it Magic or his brother Liam that played? A team sheet would have been nice. 22 for the Lions was he the tall, solid, fair haired bloke? He took some nice marks. Also thought Marshall Jones did some good things. Looks like he's had a big summer in the gym.
