Agreed the delivery to Spencer was appalling.

There were also times he would call for it, in an area and they would pass it elsewhere. He literally had no chance.

Lets hope we can beat SF this week and Peel beat claremont and west perth beat east perth!!

I think the better chance would be the following.

Obviously we have to beat SF.

Claremont beat Peel by a big margin to keep Peel's percentage well down.

West Perth must beat East Perth.

Then the final round would have to see Peel beat EP.

It's always a danger sign when you have to rely on other results. Best way is to control your own destiny!

Ideally yes, but we can't control our own destiny anymore. We have to win and hope other results go our way.

The talk yesterday about our midfield was all about the need for a tough inside mid ala Sketcher and a pacy outside mid.

What have you heard Smokey? I've heard he'll be back at Lathlain next season.

I haven't heard much Dazz. His name was mentioned in a conversation I had about our midfield. It was suggested that we need a player like Sketcher. Apparently the lady that forced him back to Melbourne is no longer on the scene and we should be talking with him.
In the same conversation Wellingham was mentioned. Now, if we could add those two to CJ and Yeo and Byrner free to roam we would do very well.
I can dream can't I?

Does anyone know if Wellingham is on the WCE payroll.
And if so what role?
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!

Wellingham listed as an East Perth player on 12 points.
Presumably he is under contract.

Only because we chased him and convinced him to come with an offer he could not refuse.
As I said, he is under contract at EP so it is not going to happen.

Wonder were this offer was 12 months ago. Hopefully this offer isn’t throwing the kitchen sink at him. Would be a good acquisition at one point but as I said he didn’t want to come to us before and is still under contract at EP. If he does make the switch I wouldn’t expect him to stay around long.
