Has to be better disposal going forward. I carefully watched Spencer White on Saturday and time and time again he had got good position and time and time again the ball was delivered to the advantage of the defender.

Marlin should have been picked ages ago, ahead of guys like Marshall Jones anyway.

Agreed the delivery to Spencer was appalling.

There were also times he would call for it, in an area and they would pass it elsewhere. He literally had no chance.

Lets hope we can beat SF this week and Peel beat claremont and west perth beat east perth!!

As a 10 point player 4 possessions from White is difficult to cop.
51 inside 50’s for Perth, don’t believe he is competing hard enough.
Last 2 games 6 possessions and 4 possessions
24 League games 210 disposals

Like someone said earlier we need a key forward

Stats are stats mate...

At the end of the day our midfield got a bit of the ball Colledge, Yeo etc but where was the accountabilty on their opponents.

The Outer wing was where claremont took it time in time out without us touching it going end to end, dont think Spencer could have done much about that, the delivery inside was horrific.

I agree some of our disposal forward was not good.

But a key forward who flies for a mark with his hands like White does need to go and learn how to mark.
Not entirely his fault but by now he should know how to play.
Even I would not fly for a mark with my hands apart.
Should also be able to take a chest mark.

Overall the team was terrible unfortunately Claremont came to play because they knew they could do themselves a favour.

For 30 odd years we have not been able to make a statement when we have had our opportunity.

I would be giving Marlin a go regardless of whether White is in the side.
2 tall forwards never hurt anybody.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!
I shot the fukin sherriff!!!!

Stats are stats mate but 24 games at less than 10 per game says enough about his overall performance

The talk yesterday about our midfield was all about the need for a tough inside mid ala Sketcher and a pacy outside mid.

What have you heard Smokey? I've heard he'll be back at Lathlain next season.

I think the better chance would be the following.

Obviously we have to beat SF.

Claremont beat Peel by a big margin to keep Peel's percentage well down.

West Perth must beat East Perth.

Then the final round would have to see Peel beat EP.

It's always a danger sign when you have to rely on other results. Best way is to control your own destiny!
