Brilliant win yesterday I tried to post last night but timed out grrr. Listened to it on Kix radio sounded very similar to the Claremont game. In that game I think Claremont were 17 points up with little more than 5 or 10 minutes to go. I disagreed with the commentator that had written us off once South's kicked the first 3 goals of the last qtr to go 20 points up. As 30plus said the Perth of the past would have rolled over and let the opposition run away with it but this team Earl has put together has some belief in it despite lacking in talent against most opposition.

Sounds like Giblet more than held his own against a much bigger opponent in Brock Higgins. Reminds me of a former player Nigel Edwards who played under Stan Magro. We lost both ruckmen to injuries early in the year and Edwards was only about 6' 3" but played with the heart of a lion.

Are we a better midfield this year than previous years despite losing Tropiano? Yeo and Giobi have been excellent recruits. Is there any chance Giobi's mate Cox will rejoin the club? What's the situation there anyone?

Exciting stuff yesterday and we gotta go in as big favorites next week against a struggling EF at home and a chance to go back to back, something very rare for us in recent years.

Good game yesterday from Mitchell Henderson. Kept the Sandover Medallist the complaining Schloithe to 13 touches while having 17 himself. Well done young man

Hendo is starting to string together some good games. Played a very important role for the team yesterday.

Geez Freezn. We found out 30 years ago that Rob Wiley could not coach. A great player, record 8 time PFC F&B, club legend, premiership player with PFC and Richmond but he just could not coach.
Are EF that out of touch that they would appoint him as their coach let alone hang on to him so long? Did not EF reappoint him for a further term only just this year? Slow learners.....and you thought that PFc were bad judges.

Smokester....pretty sure Robbie coached Perth very soon after hanging up his boots with no coaching experience under his belt.....one would like to think after 30 years of actually coaching he would gotten a bit better......sadly it appears he hasn't going off his win/loss ratio........Totally agree it was madness to extend his contract....still scratching my head as to why......

.but it would be ironic to think, a loss to the club, at the oval where he made his name in the WAFL this weekend, could be where his WAFL association actually ends.......an EF win this weekend will only extend many an EF fan suffering TBH....

Looks like the majority of injured players are back which is great also. Eyres and Etto played ressies, Bell is listed as 2 weeks away. Which leaves White and Garstone. Believe White may play ressies this week also.

It would be very fare for us to have a full list to choose from. There should be an air of excitement building after the performances from the last month or so knocking off Claremont at Claremont pushing Subi all day and getting within 2 points early in the last qtr before falling away, blitzing SD in the first half at Basso before they ran over the top of us and knocking off what is regarded as the next best behind Subiaco.

We should be expecting to frank that form against a demoralised East Fremantle at home this weekend and go into the game against WP full of confidence. This week's game against EF will tell us if we are any chance of dreaming of a top 5 finish. A loss would be a major setback.

Not that I think we’ll play finals but a loss to East Fremantle will make sure of that and will undo all the hard work of the last month or so.

Can’t afford to go in with an attitude against East Fremantle like the game is already won. Teams representing Perth have done that before and have more often than not been made to look silly.
