Great last quarter and even better win.

Listened to it on radio kix country (old 6ix) with Trevor Jenkins commentating,scores locked at 98 apiece with about 10 seconds left in the game and they stop the broadcast with no notice and go to some poxy country and western song never to return.
Of course by the time i scrambled to listen to the wafl live broadcast,game over 99 to 98.

Well done kix,i know you have normal broadcasting to go to but fuck would 10 seconds more of the game hurt.

a great effort by the red and black -- old Darren Harris has not had much luck coaching against Demons, has he? Well done again lads.

Thank fk I got that wrong. Herculian effort from the team today. That was a sensational win for perserverance and determination. Helped by Fraser Gilbert going down in the first few minutes and Nicholas cleaning up Maister in the last quarter which shifted the momentum. Zac Hill after some horrible clangers in the third quarter pulling in two massive marks in the last five minutes was crucial. Played the last five minutes entirely in our 50 and great that it was Jonesy who punted it through to put us in front for the first time in the game as the siren went.

I don't normally worry about the umps but that was a hateful and spiteful performance from Mark Worobec today. That free against Leggett, who was sensational after getting shifted onto Bolton after quarter time, for in the back on Bolton 20m out in the second quarter was a disgrace. 23-4 frees to half time. Fkn disgusting.

He does doesn't he. And he doesn't hide it either. He was helped by the Claremont sooks who umpire the game as well as play it. They should give a whilste to Jai Bolton and Hayden Busher. They seem to provide a free commentary on the game and just need to put their hand up when they need a free and Worobec made sure he's still on their Xmas card list by obliging.

Special mention should go to Dakota Baldwin-Wright for his performance today. Battled hard against another talented youngster in the ruck but his work around the ground and his in close hand ball skills was impressive. He's exceeded expectations in his first few games.

There was also a clear mark taken by Salamone with 2 minutes to go and scores level, more terrible umpiring. Agree Dakota B-W had a solid day.
