What an achievement by ef, all that gets you a 7 point win on your own heap with tricky breeze doing its work. What a statement coming up with less scoring shots than us. Is there any chance given swans' form and today's effort that we are going ok, not great but better than the misery gutses on this site would care to admit?

If we were any other team we would have won today.
You keep telling yourself we are on the right track.
When you have some proof come back say something meaningful.

I reckon being bit more objective than some posters here.

StT. I have tried to be positive for years now.

If you think we are going ok then maybe you need to get your hand off it.

Last week we were ok without being spectacular in the first half. Then we just gave up in the second. To be 4 points down at the ten minute mark of the third and to lose by 45-points is unacceptable.

Today’s effort was better and after being roughly 4 goals down we fought it out right till the very end. However as I have previously said and Dazzler said it was the missed opportunities in the third quarter that cost us the win today and a much needed confidence booster for the fans but also the players, particularly the younger ones.

I want the effort we showed against East Perth in our last game, last year, week in, week out. I’m not saying that this will see us win every game but at least the four quarter effort will be there which should put us in positions to win games. Whether we can though is another matter all together.

Do we need to spend points on Ressies players.
I wouldn't think any other Club would.
Even at 5 points it is not points that we can afford to spend.
Other Clubs use points wisely and get real quality.
That's what we need to compete at a high level.

Forget Swans how about the mob we played today, East Freo? They were as much of a blithering mess as us last year and they said, nup, we're not tolerating that, we're going to splash some cash and get the critical mass of talent we need to improve and they did. We never seem to be able to get that critical mass of talent in the door to change the result.

Careful Daz, Daryle will read that and see it as vindication we are on the right track going toe to toe with a club that splashed the cash in the off season and if this if that we coulda won.

Sounded like a game of two halves....with EF really only succeeding due to kicking straighter in the first half when they were on top..... nothing more frustrating than seeing your side kick poorly for goal....3.8 is tear your hair out stuff......

As for recruits STT.....the season is 18 matches long, not 1 thankfully......sounds like Yeo is a good pick up for you boys.....good to see Ninyette back to his goal kicking ways...the PFC and the comp as a whole need that young fella to show his talent week in and week out...
