Congrats to colts midfielder Luke English on winning the Jack Clarke medal. Remarkable effort for a kid that is still eligible to play colts in 2018 and played in a team that only won a few games for the season.

He's a bull of a player, runs hard and straight and covers a phenomenal amount of ground. Looking forward to what should be another great crop of kids coming through the colts in 2018.

Great effort Daz, so will we possibly get a dozen or so games out of him next year at league level? I reckon the Geeza will say we don't need to recruit any mids next year.

Yeah, that's my fear too. Hopefully that bozo stays as far away from recruiting this time as possible,

Luke is still eligible for colts next year I think but I wouldn't be surprised if he is elevated to play league - if we ask the new colts master's the WAFC nicely that is. He reminds me a bit of Adrian Barich.

We saw a bit of the next generation in the last colts game when they played half a dozen 16s. There is some talent that will come into the colts team next season and might make Luke's job of leading the midfield a bit easier.

That is a fair effort to easily win the Jack Clarke Medal as an underage player in a team that struggled for the majority of the year.

Let's hope he progresses better than the previous Perth winners and all of the most recent winners! Not a lot of past winners making the step up to quality league players. Bit of a farce really,the best players don't play for the majority of the season with PSA and state footy.

Did the last Perth Jack Clarke Medallist play any league at Perth?....sad when these kids dont go on...so much hope and expectation at the time.....
