To be fair the current Football Manager only took charge in February DF. Where did you hear that he wanted to be President. First I'm hearing of that.

The club talks about culture all the time but to be honest there is something rotten at this club. Full of false dawns and nothing ever changes.

Where did it all go wrong!

Who organises the fixtures for this competition? East Fremantle at East Fremantle twice in four weeks. I remember a couple of seasons ago we had East Perth twice in a row either side of a bye. There is absolutely no reason why the fixtures can't be evenly spaced. With nine teams, there should be a nine week gap between games against another team with one being home and the next away, or vice versa. It's not rocket science!! And do none of the clubs pick up these kind of problems?

CM it would be nice if it all worked out like that but it doesn't. This is due to clubs putting in requests to play certain teams on specific rounds. Like Foundation Day for example. Also if Perth have a home game on ANZAC or Easter weekend I'm pretty sure that they ask to play Swan Districts first or East Perth. They usually get a reasonable crowd with those two teams hence they have the opportunity to make the most profit.

Slot these games in first and build the rest of the fixtures around them. Seriously it's not that hard.

They do but with having 9 teams and byes you get the odd scenario where you play a team twice in a month. I don't like it either but that's how it is.

If the Eagles form their own side making it a 10 team competition then maybe this might spread the games out more evenly.

Agree there Grassy, unfortunately.

It will Mr AFL.18 round comp, 2 rounds of 9 games, Eagles don't play any home games so the traditional clubs maintain 10 home games and a mid season general bye.

Was wondering how they WAFL clubs would get 10 games. That's not a bad idea Seagull.
