Well it's starting to look ugly. 51 points down at half time. Only 9 inside 50's compared to Subiaco's 32.

The reserves didn't do much either going down by 116 points.

Congratulations to the WAFC. What a wonderful product the WAFL is these days under YOUR stewardship.

A sad day for our club. Completely humbled in all three grades. Lambs to the slaughter.
No amount of recruiting can be enough and we just do not have the depth of talent across all grades to form the foundation to rebuild to be a fully competitive force in the WAFL.
I am devastated to see where the club is this season. The prophets of doom have been telling us for so long that this is where we will end up. I never believed that it would happen but now I see how and why we are where we are.
IMHO, it will take a miracle or two for the club to survive from here. I am not confident of a positive future.

Smokey: Hang in there. Subi are a good side, try to keep that in mind mate. There is a future for Perth, one where you recruit back your players from the AFL, players whom will form the core of a side which will be able to compete for the five. Perth has been had hit by the alignment -- along with other clubs -- and that will be coming to an end soon.

How do you know the alignment is coming to an end soon AR? Have you got some information that we haven't? Last time I looked Peel will be continuing and East Perth have not committed either way.

mikeh -- no inside information sir, but it has only one year to run, which means it is ending soon unless they sign on again. If Percy runs for the Presidency, it will be very unlikely that the members will vote to keep the alignment.

Hope you are right AR but I am not as confident about this.

Forget the alignment.
No excuses for no pride in our great Club.
AND I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE PLAYERS.
The indignity is obvious.
Tim Sutherland (Ressies I know) 35 HO 10 D and 1 goal.
Perth 19 HO.
We paid $5,000 for a bloke and then let him walk out of the Club.
I know it is only one part of the equation.
We have one senior ruckman at the Club and one kid trying to be a senior ruckman.
The buck stops at the top.
The top of our Club has no pride in it.
If they did their own performance might be performing at a better level.
And don't throw the injury crap as a smokescreen.
Every Club has injuries.
The CEO and Football Department should step aside and let someone with some footy smarts have a go.
FFS I'm hearing rumours that the Football Manager wants to be President.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!
I shot the fukin sherriff!!!!

mikeh -- I share your concerns -- after all, the alignment was the centrepiece of that silly report they did a while back.

Honestly when do we say enough is enough when do we draw the line in the sand.
As a long time supporter of this once great club I've had enough.
Excuse after excuse after excuse after excuse.
Enough!!
WTF is going on and please don't tell us the players out would make much difference yeah a goal here and there but that's it.
Someone please make some changes but no these blokes up stairs have no idea.
