Well done to Julian Jacobs who retired after the game against East Fremantle. 81 league games, 70 odd were for the Demons. Wasn't the most flashiest of players going around but always gave his best I thought.

Good luck JJ. Would have preferred you to finish the season but I am sure you didn't take the decision lightly. I hope the Dees can give us all some success soon
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

I think he was good value and the loss of more experience from the Perth list doesn't help at all.
He did have a very difficult day on Saturday, but I think he was good value.

not too often a footballer would stand for state parliament directly against the local member of the area in which his footy club is located.
