Unless he has suddenly learnt to use his non preferred side he may continue to struggle at WAFL level.

As for Clem Smith can anyone shed any light on the "contract" he signed with us? Can we prevent him from playing anywhere else?

I am more disappointed with this departure than Clem Smith pulling the pin to be honest, a young Perth product who's father played for the Dees, we don't see too many father sons and we've lost this one before he's really got going. Love to know the reasons behind it. We better hope there are half a dozen from the colts ready to step up.

Well you know there wont be and if by some miracle there is,you also know like i do that they will be all mid sized players that wont make one iota of difference to our onfield performance.

TBH does anyone at that club know what they are doing for example just look at the wages that would have been spent on players in 2017,players that have either pulled the pin after pre-season has started or got drafted late(Mgunzu)

So we have money for Mgunzu,Clem Smith,Dene White and Angus Graham no longer on the books but i bet those players were well and truely in the 2017 planning add to that a couple of others on the lower end of the pay scale and it all adds up.
Yet we have put the cue in the rack for recruiting since xmas.

Fantastic our books should look good at the next AGM.
Maybe we can claim a flag for that.

Another one of our departures Zac Fisher acquitted himself well for Carlton ,today, got a bit of the ball, mainly by hand and was doing a power of running. Based on that effort he'd have a chance to play seniors this year

Well done Zac. Based on Carlton's performance today Zac should be a monty to start for them come round one. They will need him.

Just watched the first half of Carlton game and Zac did some really nice things, a run down tackle on Aaron Hall, kicked a great goal on the run from an acute angle and gave a superb effort to assist a Pickett goal.....looks well and truly at home at AFL level

Thanks for that WB. He is an absolutel beauty, I wonder if his nickname "The Future" has followed him.

He played well. That goal was a beauty. Pity about the rest of his teammates though Intipped the Blues and they fell down in the second half.
