Fetherstonhaugh would be nice. By Joyce are you referring to Justin. What type of player is he. I.e strengths and weaknesses?

Justin Joyce, very smooth mover, outstanding kick of the football. Would be a regular league footballer anywhere other than Subi. Sit him outside Jones, and those mongrel kicks forward suddenly become retained possession 40 metres down field. Not overly tall, not overly physical, better suited as an outside mid. Couple of injury concerns may have held him back a bit this year.

Fark hasn't Perth got enough recruits anyway? Jones, McKenna, Jacobs, Wolfenden, Graham, White, Cary and Etto running around anyway.....what about these gun colts you rate so highly....reckon you guys will get two out of Colledge, MZungu and Smith surely...

Wonder if Wiley had a good rapport with Clem Smith from his Carlton days?

I'd welcome him with open arms. Especially if he brings a friend.

1 point player we have to take him if he wants to return.
Hes been a better footballer at Swans than he was with us,maybe maturity who knows.
We must now go hard at getting Colledge and Smith back at the club.

What i do know is i wouldnt take any of these Subi players being mentioned here as a swap for Tropiano.
No way would i take a ressies player or 2 as a swap.
Either we take a like for like league player or we demand a top dollar transfer fee for a Sandover medallist and club Fairest & Best winner.

I might add if we can get all these players back at the club that may be enough for Tropiano to stay put.

Yes I would take him back.
As I would Busher.
The only trouble I see in doing that is the "leadership group" saying no as they apparently did with Busher.
We must stop leaving the recruiting to our "leadership group".
The football department needs to start doing what is good for the team not doing what is good for the "leadership group".
Yes and if Rodgers brought Elari back with him he would be welcome too.
All one point players.
Then up to them to earn a game.
Doesn't replace our other recruiting needs.
It adds to it.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!

Elari, Rogers and Busher all welcome home to the fold IMHO although I believe that Bush is on a new contract at Claremont.
Each of them would fit in very nicely and would add tremendously to the current squad and all 1 point players.
My problem is with the leadership group. They should not have influence on the recruitment exercise. They should concentrate on leadership of the squad of players with whom they share the honour to represent the club.
IMHO they should leave recruiting to the Football Department
