I would suggest that maybe some payments made by sponsors may be questionable.
There is no way their players, are playing for love.
There are far too many good players amongst them.
Having said that, it has been happening for decades.
There is no way the WAFL can check the books and identify payments from outside entities.

The internet is a wonderful device for researching history.Google in Swan Districts along with salary cap breaches,drug tainted premiership ,financial mismanagement and points rorting and hey bingo,it's all there in the wonderful colours of black and white print for the world to see, forever.History is such a wonderful thing,I love it.I tried the same research headings under several other WAFL clubs such as Subi ,East Freo andClaremont for instance and came up with nothing.Life is wonderful,ain't it!

Re Salary Cap you must have just read a West Australian headline without actually reading the part where SD successfully appealed the original decision?
Re drug tainted premierships who was the mob who recruited well known par takers in Chicky, Fletch?
Re points rorting who was the mob who was listing and delisting players week by week with bogus injuries over the last couple of years just to stay under the points cap?
I think we all know the answer to those questions without needing to look it up on the net!
