On the club website today Tom Davis announced as club Legend for 2013.
Tom was a member of the 1955 premiership side - kicked the last goal of the 1955 grand final that put us in front.
Eleven years later in his last game for the club Tom kicked a goal in our 1966 grand final win.
Congratulations Tom.

Great news, one of my idols when I was whipper snapper.

Would always chat to the kids in the rooms.

An old war horse was Tom, I can remember the strapping he used to wear around his mid riff.

Hope we get to see him during the year. I think he lives down Bunbury way, not too sure on that.

Call it a corset Freezin, if you wish, but he wore it as a protective measure. He suffered a severe kidney injury - from memory a knee in the back in a game going for a pack mark - and from there on, in every game, he would have a folded towell taped across his back for protection.
After that injury he changed his jumper from 13 to 30 - superstitious, I guess.

Just ignore him Smokey hopefully the south island cold will freeze his lips & brain together.

ha ha DF....actually I'm in the UK at present mate....and I've forgotten what a UK winter was like.....till now!!

smokey, just teasing mate, my old man raved on about Messers Davis, never ever saw him play, but if my dad said he was good, than he was good......my old man was a dyed in the wool Demons supporter though!!
