Where did you find this TFAF? I like the look of the new functions centre? I'm just curious though what happens to the pig pen and the inside of the current grandstand? i.e. the changerooms, president's lounge and current bar and past players rooms?

The redevelopment of Lathlain Park has been on the table for abt 5 years but rejected by the PFC because it requires them to lose some control over the ground and increased revenue from some of the facilities (not sure how this works but ....).
Apparently the Club did not want to give over the surrounds to the redevelopment, mmmm another example of not wanting to move forward!

I like the look of the preferred option.

The funding appears to be well spread with the Council, WAFC & Lotteries West all being invovled.

Don't mind the trade off with other groups utilising the facility.

That just means sustainability long term which in this day & age is needed.

I have been trying to follow the development for ages AFL. I have messaged the council look up on the net asked Brian Leys when he was around. But basically just stumbled across this when googling the same.

I like preferred option. No chance the club would block this. I will call the club today and ask them to put an official response out.

My take on it is that the existing facility is re-furbished.

I may be wrong but I think I read it right.
