A great game of competitive, good standard football. We nearly stole it at the end but Perth deserved to win. I thought we were a bit flat for most of the day. Perhaps it was Perth’s pressure that made it look that way.

Playing 3 rucks in the same side didn’t work well. Same thing happened the week before. With Darcy out injured I would have gone with only 2 of these 3 in Meek, Jones and Strnardica. From all reports Strnardica played well in the 2’s the week before but I don’t think it’s good for the team or the individuals to play all 3 as there’s not enough work for them. I know Freo want to rest Sandi for the next away game but just play 2 for a couple of weeks and whoever performs the best gets the AFL game. Shep needs to step in and sort this out with Ross.

Good to see Yeoy back playing. Last time I saw him he was in real estate. Must have given it away or cut back to play at Perth. Looked good for the Dees.

Well genius they still had 3 AFL listed ruckmen playing on Sunday Strnadica at 201cm,Meek at 203cm and Jones at 205cm up against our one and only ruckman on the day Eyres standing at 194cm!

I should have said imo...imo you only won by one goal and I think darcy makes peel a more than one goal better side...
