Fantastic effort today. Was worried about Swans speed and skill but thought the endeavour and work rate from EP was outstanding particularly in the 2nd half.

Oakley Nicholls and Lee kept going all day with Johnson and Lycett getting on top as the game went on.

Maldenis, Selwood, Swan, Anderson, Payne and Cripps were all excellent contributors.

Swans moved the ball well in the first half but were pretty well beaten in the clearances and contested ball in the 2nd half.

Great turnout by both sets of supporters. The East Perth chant in the 3/4 time huddle prior to the coaches addresses was very uplifting.

Bring on the Tigers.

Yeah it was a great crowd and atmosphere what do you reckon about 6- 7000?
You guys were too good all day and only our accurate kicking kept us in the game so long.
Good luck next week but beware the Tigers on the rebound! You will need to play very well to beat them

MikeH, I cant remember the last time CL lost 3 in a row, doesn't auger well for the Ferals.

Not too good with crowd estimates but was thinking the same 6-7k. Very good considering it was on TV.

I read your post on the Swans thread and I agree that SD were still a big chance at 3/4 time. The wind was quite strong and 17 of the 23 goals kicked in the first 3 quarters were kicked with the wind. I think the margin was 13 or 14 points at the last break.

Agree Tigers will be a tough assignment and will start favs. A WP/EP GF would be good for the WAFL crowd wise though. Have to wait and see what happens next week. Hopefully it was a bruising encounter v WP and they have a few sore bodies.

According to ABC the crowd was 6,900.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!

I would have thought closer to 10,000 as it didnt look too far off the 12,000 at the 2010 Prelim Final.

there had to be more than 7000 there. Ive watched footy for a long time, there was more there than that. was a good game on tv, very entertaining.
well done to west perth, if it ends up a derby grand final it will get 35,000 for sure. it would be quite huge and spiteful day to say the least. thats a derby in a nutshell.

reality is claremont will be hard to toss next week. for them to lose next week would go against the grain of history. but who knows .

farked if Iknow but the crowd given was 6,900.

35,000 ,,, lets see, I reckon 30,000 would be tops,,,lots of attention going on the dockers...

what do people think about having the two finals on the same day...

i reckon it sucks

there are lots of neutrals who like to go to both finals.
