Well he is injury prone so you never know. He certainly was on the ground in the 2nd half and trying hard. I think it was a combination of him being well held and our players needing to improve delivery to him.

Yeah, it was great Ark. Two in a row...can’t remember the last time this happened. Perhaps Ric May have something on this.

Well done to the Sharks. Bill is a very good coach and in time Old Easts will be up there.

Things starting to fall into place at Moss Street. Some dead wood removed and the team beginning to gel under Bill. The key for me is our mids getting more of the ball - having Eardley, Kommer, Boekhurst, Jansen and Bennett on the park together at once under the ruck work of big Griff and Strnadica has made a difference and we are looking more confident. Our small forwards worked hard today which is pleasing - Kody Manning is starting to look like a very good find and young Tom Monaghan has been a a bit of a surprise package too.

A set shot from about 40m and away we went.

A wonderful result and an excellent game
From the Captain on down the boys got their heads in the game from the start
T Monaghan is showing some excellent character in the packs with his marking and then goal numbers
As mentioned Kommer has taken his level up a notch and showing he has a heart to match his willingness to get in and under
Have to say that Manning was the game changer especially in the last Qtr. Most of the day he turned the momentum on its ear with his pressure and tackles but the massive contested bump/hit in the last Qtr that rocked the stands turned the momentum and we got the sealing goal - easy to see what was loved about him at WP

Its been a long time since Ive heard chanting in the members area !!
Moving forward we have much to be happy about and the season is open for our revival to better days - Its much more enjoyable watching this brand of footy that what has come before it.
Congrats to all.

Its been 3 years 58shark. They won 4 in a row from rounds 7 - 10 2016, but had only won 8 of their subsequent 51 games up to the win against Swans last weekend. Great to see them as a much more competitive unit under Moynahan.
