He’s saying he has some good friends at the club and gave a good explanation as to what he has been through and how he was looking after his body. At the same time, I have great respect for Bill M due to what he has achieved and can only trust he has made the right decision.
So if we’re getting deep and meaningful, “A good decision executed quickly is better than a great one never executed”.

He spoke very well and made a lot of sense about looking after his body, more players should have the courage to speak up. He is a smart man, he knows his body better than any coach. Bill`s loss. Its not like he is going to miss the main sessions but no point flogging a guy with a history of the injuries he has had when he is better served getting remedial work (soft tissue work, stretching etc) off the track to protect his asset. S&C blokes in footy are brain dead when it comes to this.

"George doesn't meet the standards & behaviours of the EFFC". He goes on to say that their philosophies & life don't marry up. They say he's a strange cat…but wow 2 clubs who chose to let him go now.

Good to see SD take George on board....at the pointy end of his 20s, the honeymoon period will get George thru to retirement with minimal fuss no doubt.....proved his worth at Subi with winning a GF with a torn hammy, won plenty of footy for EF under trying circumstances, obviously more to that needed apparently to club longevity......as strono says, two sides to every story.....for Bill the EFFC chapter has finished ....for Pickering and the SDFC it has just begun......Hopefully the SD fans will be more lenient on Hampson when picked for WA then they were this year....

Please explain?
I believe it was a Perth fan who was critical of Hampson getting a gig ahead of Leggett!

Hope the explanation is good, after all it has caused bold print which is underlined. A please explain, complete with question mark which is backed up at the end by a double exclamation point.
And as if the Perth boys haven't enough going on with elections, agm's etc to be dragged in also.

No doubt an honest mistake Freeze as Riggio and Leggett are such very similar names!

Bill contradicts himself massively in the inteview saying he said the players were not doing 100% of what they could re injury managment and preparation yet he arseholes your F & B who strung together more games than he has for several years and played state footy because he was diligent in his injury/recovery managment. Makes little sense. Good on George he is the one who has to live with his body in latter years not Bill or any other coach. If Swans can achieve the same outcomes as he did at EF last year with that kind of managment then kudos to us
