Wow, Kerr, Cousins and Yeo running around in the midfield would cause a few headaches wouldn’t they

Very true TOO, though the centreline looks a tad slow......but over all not a bad side.....just couldn't find spots for the likes of Kane Morphett, Andrew McCarrey,Jordan Snadden, Brendan Krummel, Callum Papertalk, Kane Lucas, Joel Duckworth and Scotty Bennett.....even on an extended bench!!

Wow, what a great team, that brings back memories. You could have used a different Subject name - made my heart go cold when I saw it!!

Freezin: thanks your a gent. It is a fantastic side and would match it with Subi-- the one weakness is in the ruck; Paul Harding would need help against Keene, Scott and Sinclair

Don't know who Sinclair is but will say Harding didn't have much problem in 1985 with the other 2 you mentioned.

T-M: only because Bunton made the mistake of playing Keene in the forward line, which, I have argued to Subi supporters cost us the flag in 1985. Sinclair plays in the ruck for Sydney.

Keene played that much in the bloody forward line that he was our leadding goal kicker for the season with 78 goals.

With Cousins and Kerr at ground level Ark....EF could ruck with Barge or Bennett mate and still get plenty of the footy......but it would be a great contest....

Well if Keene did kick all those goals during the season i can see why Bunton played him in forward line - fortunately for EF though he was no match for Colin Waterson. Big Ron Alexander had faith in Harding and took himself from ground after kicking the first goal of the 85 GF - though it did mean we had to beat the lions with one less man. The moving of Camel Browning into the forward line was genuis as he booted 6 goals and perhaps was the difference in the end but i digress. Back to the topic - should not stavros be included in that side as he not only captained both clubs also won B & F's at both.

Yep thought about Malaxos....but his AFL career was over when he came to EF.....actually was tempted to put in the likes of Brown, Stevens and Houlihan as they all made the league footy senior debuts at EF.....also Trent Nicholls too played in a premiership for EF whilst on the WCE list.

Paterson was a great swingman for EF....as was Browning....pity Todd took over from Alexander as WCE coach....reckon Wrensted would of gone to better things TBH
