Well it could be dressed up a bit, but at the end of the day it is nothing more than another 40 point plus pumping at home and the club slides further into embarrassment.
If there is, as some have suggested on this site, a clique at the club which includes some players then they should be throroughly ashamed of where this club is at.
If the club thinks it is ok to have player awards tonight and a few beers and a few giggles then they should just head for the door, sidle on out and head the helll out of the joint without so much as a glance over their shoulders.

Complete laughing stock we are.

Wasn't the game at Lathlain?
Anyway you've got some competition for the laughing stock award.

mikeh if you check our next two games and you were only going to go to one of the two next week at East Freo is the one to go.

That is (dare one say it) a very courageous prediction. Personally I haven't been to a game and seen a Swans' victory since Round 5 that coincidentally was against East Freo.

EF have this uncanny ability of providing opposition players with breakout games....mainly Perth ones too of late.....Leggett last year with 7 goals....Bennell with another 7...and now Carey with 5.....no doubt SD will rediscover their lost mojo and some poor unsuspecting mid tier SD player will come out of the darkness into the limelight and kick a bag v EF.....

Touch wood the new EF coach gets rid of a few players at this footy club....players who get picked week in and week out and seem to do fark all.....tho it doesn't help when your development side can only manage 25 pts in their game.....great win by the colts.....Jacob Brennan getting the job done from all accounts.....

Said it before mate, he may be another in a long line who can coach the East Fremantle colts to a flag. They have had talent before and they have it now.

Ooooll, like you and others here on the EF thread I agree Brennan shouldn't be EF next senior coach as it is a gig to soon for him.....but I have to admire how he has gone about his work of late....that colts side yesterday v Perth was missing up to 6 of its best credentialed players (Sharp- under 18s AA, Ruscoe, Rivers, Jackson, Murdock & Ritchie - 2017 colts team of the year) plus colts eligible boys in Scott and Bockman (2017 premiership players) have played seniors all year......Yep aware colts footy is a different entity to seniors, but kudos to Brennan for his work this year.....even spread of performances from the team throughout the season.....maybe he is lucky with the group dynamics compared with the apparent squabbling egos / agendas of the senior squad.....

just saying if Brennan goes deep in the finals with his team and since he is a passionate local EF boy with family connections within the club.....he could be a definite front runner for the senior role next year.....or perhaps being an ex WCE player as his dad was....maybe in line for the WCE stand alone team next year as well.

Obviously reliant on feedback from friends and family who watch EF first hand and myself listening to live stream of games....but considering EF has had such an extended injury list all season...a lot of mid tier guys have had opportunities to put their hand up like Green, Harrold, Creasey, A Holmes, Cuneo, McCarrey,Burton,Marshall, C Holmes and Harding....and all have had limited success.....had really high hopes for the latter 4 especially.....whilst loyal servants the likes of Henson and Perham surely have reached their peak....and Howson is forever ill/injured

Perhaps with a new coach some of these guys could find a new spark....can't see all tho.....from a depth perspective these guys are handy, but really would like to see guys like LesterSmith, Mirco, Ellis, Perry and Bailey back on the park in 2019....Cronan is a good young tall and hopefully will have better luck injury wise in 2019.....tho young colts Nic Watson is a promising sort and at 197 hopefully transition into seniors next year.along with other colts in Ritchie, Murdock, Robinson, Davidson and Murphy....plus 2017 colts F&B in Zac Jackson and Quill could be given more opportunities along side other colts premiership boys in Stone and Ryan

Really would like to see Chris Scott given an extended run, he Bailey and Davidson are all 193 cm plus and future KPD in EF defence.....tho Jupp and Winton seem to be hard to budge.....both only 24 tho and seem to be respected highly down at EF....not sure how long Harry Marsh and Marco Paparone have left in the AFL....but both will be handy if delisted....can only see O'Reilly and Joyce getting drafted....

EF colts next year look an exciting lot....the likes of Sharp, Rivers, Ruscoe and Luke Jackson were under age state U/ 18 reps this year....plus exciting young Gero boys in Dylan Curley and Jai Jackson .....under 16 reps in Walker x 2, Dann, Curley, Carroll, Haddow and Tirant should come through....

Need some luck on the injury front....last 2 years has been appalling.....not sure what the likes of Hampson, Eardley, Schofield, Marsh etc are gonna do next year.....need some help for Loersch up front...hopefully other recruits in Kommer, Jansen, Snadden and Fletcher can improve plus the return of Boekhorst.....just need a coach with a simple game plan, decreased injury free squad and more cohesive playing group for EF to improve.....this year has been a mess....at one point EF had no fit tall forward in either senior team plus only one fit ruckman.....
