The club has commenced the process for senior coach. The advertisement for the position can be found on the club’s website.

Nah!
My understanding is that Schofield is looking for a real challenge.

Considering the clubs situation at this time I would go for a younger coach from the Amateurs with good people skills.

What about luring the WAFL “SuperCoach”? FFS, cut my fingers off.

Woewodin is coaching ammos isn't he? Seems he's on a similar path to Spalding. Both coached EF for a couple of years after they retired then went on to AFL assistant roles and Spalding is doing a good job at Perth considering what he inherited. Woewodin seems like a logical choice if he's interested.

DD, Woewodin is a major part of the coaching group 'Winning Edge Academy'. This group train young kids in large numbers for good coin. I would imagine Shane enjoys the same and will stay there - ignoring the stress of a senior position.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Does't have to have AFL or even senior WAFL experience.
Sometimes elite people don't have the common touch.

Does have to be younger and a good MAN MANAGER who can develope a club from the grass roots.

Keep the game plan simple.
There is too much coaching in football these days so get rid of the second and third tier coaches.
Develope the footballers in the club not the athletes.

I reckon Andrew Embley will be a strong chance if he's an applicant
