Not looking for excuses, though how those making up the draw did not spot one team coming off a bye against one coming off a 5 day break having played on a public holiday Monday does make you wonder about their capacity.

Subi could of played 7 matches on the trot without a rest and still flog EF by as much.....no doubt all those free kicks for Subi hurt EF today...

....if winning a spoon is the only way for Robbie to fall on his sword than so be it.....worked last time for EF to get rid of Dunbar....I can see the players strategy here.....just wish they could let us fans in on their cunning plan.......save a lot of people a lot of despair and frustration....

It seems like a wooden spoon (and won in style) is what it is going to take for him to do that. We need to thankful that Subiaco didn't kick straight, can you imagine what this score line could have actually been like.

Nothing more than a training run for subi, plus 53 inside 50 entries just shows the lack of midfield and around the contest pressure. Players just going through the motions with no belief or confidence. What is our game style other than clogging up the opposition front 50m with every player on the ground. We this did from the first bounce and hosted up the white flag from the get go kicking with the wind. No player in front of the ball when exiting the back half except a wall of Subi players ready to pump it straight back.

Another utterly woeful display today. No targets up front as usual and Perham playing as a ruckman! for much of the game. We are at critical mass.

here is question for all the supporters of playing football on the strategic defensive as Wiley does:

What happens if you can't get the ball back?

Very few premierships have been won from the half-back line

Sharks want as many half backs as possible to win the lynn medal. Stephens, Schofeild, its time to get Marsh one.
If you want the midfeilders too start getting decent numbers stick them in the back half too. Surely some of these players must have had a gutfull by now and be ready to leave . Its totally demorilising for all concerned. Perth are younger i would say with possibly less talent at their disposal but are having a crack everyweek against all comers.
These guys are disinterested disillusioned and dont trust or rate the guy leading them. They obviously dont care if he walks or they would have a dinkum crack for him. Act soon ef or youll be lookin for new coach, new home new supporters and a host of new players.

Plus 1: good post, it made me laugh too. The other point about the style of play is that it is far too exhausting on the squad -- when you are tired, you lose ability, and look even worse as a side.
