Good to see EFhave updated their league playing list for 2018....players with pics and numbers. Heard BOB has been pn the training track, but not listed, saying that Lester-Smith is not listed either. Numbers 15 and 18 haven't been allocated though, so hopefully these two guys will be playing at some point this year.

Wiley is going to have some interesting selection dilemmas throughout the season no doubt....obviously the recruits will get first dibs for places, but hopefully youngsters like Burton, Harding, Holmes, Bailey etc will get opportunities to develop on their 2017 seasons.....can't please all though.... If the club can curtail it's injuries, Wiley should have good variety to utilize on match day.......a good array of quality height up front, always think EF lack a genuine tall defender though, good mix of experience and youth across all the lines.....hopefully the likes of Boekhorst, Fletcher and the Wynn boys can bring some much needed outside zip for the likes of Eardley, LA, Hampson et al to get the ball out too.....with a good selection of mids will Wiley utilize Marsh's size and speed up back this year?....

Yep- though I don't think some of the recruits are absolute locks. I'd hate to see the youngsters who were given games last year automatically be relegated to the Ressies- i'm sure their pre-season have been strong. No excuses this year- there shouldn't have been any the last 2 years as well- the squad is good enough to play finals. I expect we will.

Not sure why BOB or Lester-Smith wouldn't be listed- maybe they haven't signed a contract yet??

KC.... EF missed out to EP last match of the H&A games in 2016....while last year was a mess, EF were hampered with their C & VC only playing about a handful of games between them, Peake and BOB pulling the pin early on, LesterSmith doing a knee and a few more injuries than the club would of liked....like you want to see the youngsters given equal opportunity, tho just feel the players on bigger money will be given first sniff.....but as u say no excuses TBH....

Great write up by VC Matty Jupp on EF website....update on the recruits and preseason...sounds like Loersch has had an injury riddled preseason so may be slow to get going early on.... everyone else is tracking well. BOB, Mirco and LesterSmith are on the long term injury list thus why not on main list....tho BOB has been training well....4 colts eligible boys training with the league still in O'Reilly, Joyce, Bockman and Scott....Scott looks like a likely sort ready to go from round 1 according to Jupp.

Perhaps Dorotich's knee is beyond recovery to pay WAFL footy, from memory had a shocker of an ACL.
