Yesterdays result a bit of a shock and at the final score margin. Claremont achieved the highest equal winning margin for the season. And an important game for the Sharks in the current context of things, but all come to nought. Some weeks ago, many people were saying East Fremantle's final qualifying match would come down to an Elimination Final. Those words have now come to fruition. Going on yesterdays performance at 53 Ball Disposals/ Goal, 6 Ball Disposals Inside 50m/ Goal, an Offence rate of 13.5% and only 36 Ins 50's simply won't cut the cheese next week! A dramatic improvement will need to be made in the final qualifier.
Feeling confident East Fremantle will be far improved next week. The worrying factor is East Fremantle (at Home) are averaging 10 Goals per match but having an average 13 kicked against them. Whereas the alignment are averaging 10 Goals (in Away matches) and having an average 9 Goals against.

weak as piss...even to think we could limit the losing margin and then next week could still lose slightly and qualify

stevo & perham to come back in and I would give conor regan a go as well as he is burning them up in the ressies

colts are in unbelievable form and would think they can take care of ep and qualify

East Fremantle have not played well at Home all season is part of their problem. The Home ratio is in the minus whilst their Away ratio is much better at 12. The number of scoring shots and poor conversion rate displayed against Claremont would not inspire any confidence in East Freo supporters, going into next weeks game. The Sharks stats show a better performance in Away matches. Hopefully the loss to Claremont will kick start the team into a far better unit in their Elimination Final this week. An East Fremantle win in the final qualifying match would be much preferable. Would be better to have 4 Wafl teams in our Finals instead of 3.
We can live in hope because they are certainly not without a good chance this coming week.!

Can't think EF performance could get any worse after that Cl game....totally agree with you strono, I can't see how Perham and Stephen won't play....plus Winton too and like you say Regan....Wiley needs to do something to spark a few things up a bit....

Be interesting to see if EP drop likes of Powell-Pepper, Wright etc from their seniors into their colts to get their colts boys into the finals......also with Nick Nat gone, does Giles go up?....and say a MacKenzie or Brown to help match Adelaide's tall tyro of Walker, Lynch and Jenkins?

had a good laugh at how they pulled out giles for the ep game on the weekend....hope all the faithful ep members enjoyed that!

we hope giles, McKenzie & brown all play and/or travel....problem is the eagles play Friday night so I would imagine whoever doesn't play will play for ep the next day
