yep a win here for EF and an EP loss v Sf will definitely aid EF finals chances.....Cl have definitely had a season they would want to forget....not in the SD proportions with a spanking most weeks, but in the even more gutting sense of being right in it till the final siren in a shed load of games....last time these sides met EF nearly gave Cl the game with a scoreline of 6.17.....really can't afford that on Sat.....not too sure what to make of that Perth win, as Perth haven't won in a month.

Always wary of Cl big boys up front....Maister and Cameron will definitely test EF defence....hopefully the wet weather predicted will stifle their impact some what....no doubt Perham will come in after his 8.1 performance in the reserves and Stephen for his experience up back....be interested to see how Cl play this, continue with the youngsters from the colts or send them back to prepare for their finals assault in a few weeks time...I reckon EF colts will be hoping the likes of Waterman, Guelfi etc stay up in the seniors....once again a SF win over EP colts will be greatly appreciated, resulting in EP v EF playing an early elimination final for that last finals spot in both the colts and league the following weekend.....

another bug effort needed from the usuals in Hampson, LA, Eardley, Macca and Schofield, whilst bristow once again will be under the pump v Cl tryo of big men....if it's wet does Stokes drop out for the likes of a Dion Anthony who kicked 5 and had 40 possessions in the seconds last weekend v Perth....another big one, though if EP lose EF have agood chance of still being in the top 5 come sat night even if they do lose....rather get the win and be 4 points clear and some 10 - 15% clear heading into that early elimination final v EP......hopefully EF don't do a Rio and choke on the day.....

interesting no perham after a bag of 8 and carter fairly quiet on debut against a weak perth
hopefully Hampson right for next week
Andrew Stephen is another who will press for claims with another week in the ressies this week

big plus with maister missing with concussion

I think there are a few teams in the top 5 who would be glad that the Tigers won't be there in September.

Seems like the Rio bug has contaminated EFFC.....finals spot on the line and to get spanked like that by a Cl side with a few colts boys is beyond belief.....don't deserve to play finals and TBH this top five is a joke...reward the top 4 and play the finals as accordingly.

Great win by the colts and reserves.....not too sure what Wiley can conjure up next week.....worst performance all season considering the circumstances....well done to Cl....if only some of the games had gone your way, more of a worthy finals opponent than what EF showed today.....bugger that Macca has gone down with a hammy.....

The Gummies destiny is now in their own hands, beat Wart and they play finals lose and they don't. Could even finish 4th for a home final if they have a big win and CL who are in stellar form beat FART by a big margin at the Showgrounds.

I'll be saying a prayer to the football gods that the Sharks can keep the Ferals out of the finals.

If your main ball getters eardley 16, liam 10, chrichton 7 henson 12 combine for a total of 45.
And they have 1 player gets 37 its never gonna finish well.
These guys are better than that.
Shake it off and reload. Mayby a couple of changes for next week, we are still alive.
Awsome wins colts and ressies.
