Congratulations to Thomas Marshall on being named to make his League debut in the back pocket on Saturday. Big outs in George Hampson, Jamie McNamara and Sam Read.

Grassy, EF have Peel, SF then Subi....all top 4 sides at present....definitely those 3 outs open up this game more. Hampson especially who has been in rich form since the EP win. JMac has had achilles soreness so maybe EF are managing him a bit who knows. Good to see Marshall get a debut, Adamini is a possibility perhaps? What is the weather meant to be again?

another wet one eh Grassy.....mmmmm don't think Shark Park is the place to be on a wet n windy arvo.....perhaps the club is managing JMac and Hampson to allow them an opportunity to play state footy....if selected of course.....Hampson in current form would be a shoe in....

the weather will hopefully limit the damage of Peel's talls in Clarke, Hannath and Apeness....wonder if EF will use Crichton to nullify ROB at the contest?....

Good to see the inclusion of Matthew Jupp for this weeks fixture. Jamie McNamara and George Hampson are both reportedly missing due to calf injuries. Together with Eardley and Read also missing the match against Peel will definitely be a major challenge for the Sharks.

Bugger East Fremantle losing this match! I think they will rue the fact.
Interesting to note the Sharks next 4 games sees them at Home once with 3 on the road. Three of the games against teams in the top part of the league ladder. Souths(Away), Subiaco(Home), Perth(Away) and West Perth(Away). No easy matches amongst those.

Always difficult to analyse a loss to either Peel or EP because of the alignment anomaly...obviously Peel duly won the game but so far v Peel this year two unthinkable things have happened......game 1 Alex Pearce snags the only two goals he will ever kick in his senior footy to win the game and today Zac Clarke played the only good game he will play in 2016 or ever most likely in his life....

Does Bristow need another recognised ruckman to help with his workload? Hampson is obviously integral to EF forward line.....losing may prove a blessing because I cant see all 7 of EF state squad players getting a gig now.....Hampson, Anthony and BOB at best TBH....thus the rest will freshen up a few players for the Subi, Perth and WP games......of late EF play better away from ATOM stadium.....so another blessing one hopes!

The colts sneak a last gasp win.....who kicked the winning goal.....Rodgers?......as for the reserves good to see 194cm plus players in the side.....Ellis, Fletcher, Stokes, Solomon, Cronan and Chalwell.....Peels reserves are weak tho so hard to gauge that win......with Eardley, Jmac, Read and Hampson hopefully back, I wonder who misses out v SF next game?

Hewson kicked the winner Freeze.

Good to see ressies back on the winning list. Surprised Schleicher cant get a league berth atm given Eardley & Hampson are out??? Seems to be racking em up regular in the ressies and gets overlooked.

The league I was worried about with those outs and it didn't surprise me we lost. From all reports we were very flat and beaten in the middle. Had some quiet contributors. I've heard Hampsons calf could be another game...lets hope not.

Big game next week against SF. Need to be at full strength as I cant see us beating em otherwise.

never really looked like it though wiley thru brock into the fwd line and kicked a goal early and thought this could be it but when big Watson misses a set shot from 45 and brock misses 2 snap shots it was not to be

Hampson wont return till after the state game and jmac continues to manage his Achilles
eardley has ligament damage to his ankle so could be after the state game and not sure about sam read

good to see ellis have 10 shots at goal for a return of 5.5 albeit it was against peel

colts game was average at best and lucky to get over the line...noticed their best player humble debut in the league side and the leading goalkicker millward played ressies

interesting selection times this week
