Hams is a huge loss for SF.....yeah Kerr out is big, but EF were expecting Kerr out any way......just injured instead of WCE selection.....SF wouldn't of expected Hams out to WCE.

As you say Strono just got to keep on winning, though at least there is the Foxtel to fall back on to......perhaps SF had their EF game last week v WP and they will simply roll over this weekend and be submissive like all well behaved dogs do!! Another good derby in the midst with no doubt a bit of uncertainity awaiting for both teams......colts need to win too.....

We owe them BIG TIME. Would love to see the boys repay them in spades

Great result but the injuries to Hadley, Bayliss and Lester-Smith could be costly over the next few weeks!

gee you got that 100% right, from chocolates to boiled lollies in 7 days, and WP the complete opposite

SF are a developing side.....always difficult to back up performances like they showed v WP......SF did carry over some of their WP win into the EF game.....for the first 10 minutes.....but whilst there are no excuses to getting done like they did, nothing new or surprising from a developing side......

Can't believe EF colts threw away a great chance to get back in to the four....1.6 in the second quarter in a 6 point loss is always gonna hurt.....Kudos to SF colts for winning......they also did it without Main, Sokol and Johnson who were all playing reserves.....pretty disappointing from the EF colts.....all their next games are MUST win games.......WP and SD shouldn't be a hassle......Perth will be a cracker......whilst the last game of the year v Cl will be do or die.....same as the Perth v SF game at the same time!......

Subi are there too and they need the likes of Wood, Grace et al back in the colts......wonder if they will put them back there now Subi's league chances have gone?

Well done to EF far better side on the day.

Oh well that wraps up the derbies for 2013.

looking forward to a far more competitive South side in 2014, who knows what the future holds with the host club deals, but lets hope the derbies are crackers in 2014!

I know it was wet yesterday but that was a disapointing crowd. Is that the smallest crowd ever to a derby??
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

a live TV coverage too. plus souths are struggling this year. i think there will be about 20 or so quality players looking elsewhere by October and maybe souths will pick a few up. if they get back on track the derby crowds will be back.

maybe they should play next years opener as a derby. a friday night on a balmy mid march evening might get a few in the gates again.

i was very impressed with east fremantle on saturday. dont rule them out of finals just yet

Interesting week for EF B)

East Perth and Perth 1 game less than EF.
Perth High percentage EP low percentage

EP playing Cla so they would like a win to CLA :)
They must beat Perth

SD on a bye so EF could go to 3rd

If CLA def E Perth and they win they will be in the 4 but lets not forget the game up they have..

The week after EF,SF,CLA Have a bye so the raffle starts again :)

Hmmm the WAFL is alive - 1 week at a time as they say

Heres the ladder
