Great effort by a below full strength East Fremantle winning 6.6 to Norwood 4.11

Yes a good win by Old Easts, grinding it out it wet slogging conditions.

I tuned in about half way through the third quarter and the Sharks looked more desperate than Norwood. They were more efficient with their disposals whilst the SA team tended to just bomb it forward. Norwood wasted so many opportunities in the last quarter and it must have been shattering for them when Lester-Smith showed them how!

Well done Sharks, you have done the WAFL proud in what were conditions that would have been totally foreign to most of the players. Should be a lively trip home.

Probably a bit early to start hoping for an all WAFL grand final yet. There are a couple of VFL teams still in the way. But you never know as Claremont are the defending champs and East Freo are only one game away from the decider. After the State game this would cap off a great year for the local comp.

Just proving once & for all the WAFL is the best Comp outside the AFL!

That was a very pleasing & welcome result. I don't have Foxtel so I couldn't watch the game. Maybe it will give the club a bit of momentum for the remainder of the season.

It would be a great advertisement for the WAFL if both our clubs got through.
