6 games , 6 comfortable wins, percentage of 162, nearest rival 2 games back. They have achieved this with a growing injury list and unless this continues will get even stronger in the 2nd half of the year. The next two games will be interesting as they play Perth and East Fremantle who I think are capable of mounting a challenge, particularly with Claremont weakened somewhat. West Perth also gave them a run for their money. History is littered with teams who have barnstorming starts but fall away late in the season but such is the quality of the Tigers you would not expect that to happen. If I had to pick anyone who might be able to stop them winning their third flag in a row it would be the Sharks who may be driven by their GF loss last year

Is an interesting round. I certainly would not be writing Perth off in this match. Their supporters we're very happy last round and they only had the one injury concern where Tunbridge? hurt a finger. Perth will be confident.

This will test where Perth really are IMO.

We have them after the state bye and will tell us where we are.

Who knows Claremont could lose both these games and its open wide.

CLA will be in the GF and it depends on who plays them. The GF can be different game and considering CLA are not winning by Huge margins whoever plays them have a chance.
EF blew it giving CLA a 9 goal start and almost comming back. That wont happen and maybe, just maybe, they will be the two teams left to play out the last year of the almost true WAFL comp. Early days and top 4 well in contention for any team.
Another few rounds should tell the story but would be great to see at least 7 teams still in the running for the Finals as this could increase crowds and keep the Fickle WAFL supporter interested. Round 6 proved on any given day any team can win.

It is a real shame that success in the WAFL leads to complacency with clubs supporters.

Claremont are my least favortie team in the G7 because they have next to no supporters.

They must address this. And by fixing their ground they will but more needs to be done now.

Will be looking on with immense interest on Saturday.

Go Dees

Time for a Flag.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Cardy are you serious?

"considering CLA are not winning by Huge margins"

We have beaten:

SF by 48pts
SD by 61pts
EP by 54pts
Subi by 54pts

Perhaps you mean the past 2 games where we beat WP by 19 and Peel by 17 but really we haven't even come close to losing and the past two games we had half a side almost.

It all comes down to the big day. We could win every game and then lose the big one who knows. Look what happened in 2010 when we lost by a point.

OK Tigeriffic nice wins but I dont think CLA will be playing a final against those teams you mention with the exception of SD who have proven they are a force on any given day. Dont put EP SUBI OR SF in my top fourn.
Long way to go yet and it is a very interesting race on the ladder.
End of round two should give us an indication but it could go down to the wire for that 3 and 4 spot (assuming EF are in 2nd)
CLA are certainly hot favourites as they should be and with a few comming back will improve.
Will still enjoy the contest between the other 8 as Footy games for the rest of this season. Tipping these wafl games is certainly no easy task.

Tigeriffic, is there an air of invincibility at the Club?

I watched the game on Saturday and I am not sure that Claremont looked all that unbeatable.

Yes I know you have players out but you do have a reserves team that has been dominant in recent years.

I would not necessarily get complacent if I were Claremont, there are teams out there that might just give you a run for your money.

We ourselves are looking forward to the challenge to see where we are at.
