Unfortunate that his career ended in less then ideal circumstances but congrats on one of the great modern day WAFL careers. Very well respected from opposition sides and im sure held very highly from those at Tigerland. Well done Beau.

Then again the players would get a feeling of knowing when it's enough. Has played some great games for Claremont over the years. And is going to be missed.

WAG from all reports his retirement is related to health concerns around a concussion he received and possible long term consequences.

Mr AFL Offline Platinum Member Posts: 3813 Thank you received: 145	From what I’ve heard it’s to do with his concussions that he has suffered over the last couple of years. Congratulations Beau. To play around 220-230 WAFL, VFL and AFL games which included a premiership and a Simpson Medal is a great achievement by any footballer.
