Since the conversation on this topic went skewiff last time I’ll start afresh.

The bird is easy on the eye at the beginning but the meaty bit starts at 1’ 18”.

Football in the future for Claremont or the end of football at Claremont?

It is certainly a unique set up, you wouldn't think the demographic portrayed on the video would like WAFL football interrupting their "high teas" and Cocktail parties, Imagine Dan from WP bellowing out his infamous "Caaaaarn Weeeeeest", it would echo through the place like he did in a empty MCG a couple of years ago during a Foxtel Cup game:)

Going to be so much fun bouncing the burley off those windows before the start of the Colts games. Top floor is worth 10 points, getting yelled at is a bonus 5

The Tiges will need a pretty bloody big net to keep the Neighbors' bill down.

They are going to hear the Siren, about 96 times in all 3 Grades. And if it's new and improved,......wait for the complaints to come flooding in.Anyway of soundproofing the new buildings?

Yes
I believe it's called soundproofing

I will give the club about 3 years after final establishment b4 a push is made by the oval residents to kick Claremont out.

There’s a big difference between a lifestyle residence (like what would have been on offer at the WACA) and normal residency.

The oval is approx 5 metres from your front door so even though the units are reasonably soundproofed the non football supporters will have to put up with the training and game noise, parking issues, lights and a licensed premises next to them.

Local residents are already vetoing the building of or extensions to, sporting facilities in the suburbs because they don’t want the yobbo element around.
The big kicker here will be the dog walkers. They are taking over suburban sporting facilities in plague proportions because they unite easy and are more politically outspoken than other groups.

There’s just something in the psyche about being a “whingy westy”.

Would an unofficial cash donation help this redevelopment get the go ahead, I'm not talking about a bribe, that word makes Swans supporters all uneasy and angry.

Stage 1 already built.

Stage 2 80% sold off plan.

Commercial tenants subscribed.

As I understand, and this could change, but purchasing here does not give you any Claremont membership rights.

There doesnt look like much parking space for Outer to park up the rig but for the usual crowd at a Claremont vs $cumi fixture he should be able to park outside the main gate and no one would notice!
