I believe Mark Seaby was chaired off the ground after the Elimination Final. Sounds like he has decided to retire perhaps?

Yes the match report said he was expected to retire
An excellent career for Mark
120 AFL games ( 106 at West Coast, 14 at Sydney) 2006 premiership player at West Coast
129 WAFL games ( 73 at West Perth, 56 at Claremont) 2003 premiership at West Perth

I would think that Maister and Bradley would probably go around next year depending on how their bodies go in the off season

Both Maister and Bradley did not really get into the game today. Would be good to see them both front up and play on next season.

Sad day for the WAFL really, I thought Cl were very good considering what they had to come up against, an AFL coached funded and staffed team with 11 full time professionals out of 22 with a group of good WAFL players led by Lee, Johnson, Wolf & co, great effort to stay with them for 3 qtrs.

This all results in a "who cares" 1st semi final which will be the TV game while at Leederville we will see 1st and 2nd on the table clash in what should be a great fiercely competitive game, winner straight into the GF.

SS why did you overstate the interest in the ist semi-final be describing it as ""who cares"'? That gives it far more than it deserves.

Seaby has caused us (SD) more problems over the recent past than anyone I can remember for 30 years. All the best in retirement Seabs.

Agreed BH; he won't cause us any more angst.

Yes, I remember in the 2008 prelim where he dominated us in the 1st half but couldn't continue after half time because of injury. Nic Nat took over and the rest is history!
