8 games plus a bye left, 5 games at home and 3 away. Season 2014 is gone, time to get serious about 2015 and beyond.
We play SF, SD, EF, P & WP at home and PT, S and EP away. At home we've narrowed the gap against sides in the last month b4 a solid win against SD away. Tiger of Old and Ol Boy have joined me in screaming out for tall young forwards to be played, McGovern and Abbott answered that last week, working really well together.
Time for others like Max Bentley and Starcevich to be thrown in the deep end, plus other young players in the reserves and colts. Let them learn off what was shown at Steel Blue last week.
Need to look to 2015 and beyond, looks like April/May 2016 is when we return to the new development at Claremont Oval, so hopefully we return with a bit of bite!

Not the best of seasons for the Monts Jimmy but at least there now seems to be some light at the end of the proverbial.Watching the development of your local youngsters coming through the system is something to look forward to for the remainder of the season.

I think you are on the money Jimmy, the roles seemed to have been reversed between league and ressies league playing a much more team orientated style of late, some of the senior players sent back to ressies are more about how many possessions they can get, selfish and no defence to their game 4 straight loses a direct result of that and body language to suit. Plenty of young guys busting their guts and with talent. A few guys think they are owed something and are not as good as they think they are.

Cl will be sweet, Broadbridge will c u guys right.....stick Starce jnr to FF.......oh yeah sorry Jimmy B .....theres me sticking my five pence worth in again.......great to see so Cl well represented in the u/16s too......future looks bright.

Starc has kicked three goals playing out of FF in ressie all year tried at chb at weekend was all at sea cant see him making an impact in league

Reckon we can win at least 3 of the next 8, possibly more. That's 7 wins in a rebuilding year, not bad. Been a tough year for League, Reserves & Colts. All 3 have had some thumpings. Throw some of the Colts into the League, give them a taste.

Yeah he has missed a fair bit of footy sure to have a detrimental effect and thats probably were he is at not saying at his best he couldn't be handy but at present timing out and pretty rusty on the skills side

Murphy & Holt both named in the Reserves. Hope they both get through.

No outs but 3 players added, Cameron, Ledger & Willett. Can't see any changes happening the way they played last week.
Apparently there will be more action in the announcers area than on the field.
