Young Starcevich has played the last 3 games in the ressies, give him a crack in the league. Had a big reputation didn't he? Give him and young McGovern a crack.
As for tough decisions, I see Tom Ledger has played in the Reserves for the last month.
Perhaps winning the wooden spoon in his first year has seen rebuilding put on the backburner?
Think we have 9 games left plus a bye, we'll probably end up with the wooden spoon, Peel a game behind us, South & Perth on the same points but with better percentage, although Perth have played one more game than us. Peel, unfortunately, will get better with fitness levels & players fighting to play finals for the Dockers. So, throw caution to the wind, live with the pain and rebuild with young blood. So when we return to Davies Road we'll be up there.

Starcevich coming back from a long term knee injury looks like he is running on a treadmill at the minute

if young Starcevich had a big reputation, he would be playing AFL now not in the WAFL....I think you CL boys are over rating this kid, on the basis of who his dad is/was as a footy player and how desperate your current situation is right now......surely Brisbane or Collingwood would have gobbled this kid up....especially with their lack of quality tall forwards at present......if he was any good......

Great effort against Swans today! Looks like we've found the forwards we've needed in McGovern & Abbott. Hamp played a great game, seems more at home in the role he played today, not so much up forward but more in backline. Senior players all led from the front. Seems in the last month the players are buying into the message/game plan of Broadbridge abd co. Got South next at the show grounds...bring it on, can't make the finals but we can make life uncomfortable for other sides in the weeks to come.

If you blokes play with as much intensity as you did today vs us you will win a lot more before the season is out JB!

boags I'll take a seat next to you on the bandwagon! you were calling wooden spoon 6 days ago!
like you said though, season is gone, all that's left is to spoil other clubs parties and how sweet it was today. swans fell into the classic complacency trap and you can't do that in a tigers swans game.
Blackwell, still easily one of the best footballers in the land outside of the afl, breakey - low on talent but huge on tiger tenacity.

I thought Claremont were impressive today and their tackling pressure was excellent. Swans were below their best but some of that was down to Claremont's intensity. I noticed that before the game they were practicing a running, handballing style of match simulation while Swans were having their usual goal kicking practice. Is this something they do every week? They certainly linked in well as a team during the match so that pre game stuff may have been useful.
