yep, terrible start to the season, don't want to panic but the four seems well and truly out of our reach this season. Hamp as our key forward? not big enough, not strong enough, brooks or starcevich or both have to come in next week. broadbridge off to a shocker. players looked lost, like they were under too many instructions or zones or structures or something. sometimes you just gotta play footy.

Yeah, Bazza you're a legend mate  ,season just past, 3...yep....3....sorry i'll repeat it for you, as you're obviously "special" and an "expert" ...3 AFL listed players played for us throughout the entire season, and we finished on top after the home and away,....your team finished......????? McGovern, Silvagni & McGinnity played for us last year champ...and not many games...and few together .....any way........you're on the money champ.
Sat near the dug out Tiger of Old...MMMMMMMMMMM.....lot of yelling going on.
Abbott, Starcevick, Brooks and Aitchison definetley in, Knott a little fighter must come in,Daniher, young Blackwell & Jack Richardson in the mix. Too many players mentioned as "special" by Townsend & co collected less than 19 touches. Coach needs to make a statement.
Early days, but could well be a long season.
Good to see a Panizza in the number 40 jumper running around.

Not sure Brooks is the answer apparently has worked really hard and stripped a heap of weight hats off to him, however up too league standard wouldn't have thought so his size should dominate reserves opposition not happening, contesting and bringing ball to ground admirable, at 30yrs not a development prospect. To believe the tigers are a flag prospect in near future with alignments teams on the radar along with most other clubs not realistic. Play the young ones early short term pain long term gain as the say!

In all honesty I hope you guys don't win a game. Not 1. You've had so much success I don't want to hear the crying. And we all know with the local talent you have the rights to you'll be up there again in a year or 2 anyway. So here's hoping for a horrible season for the Tiges! Cheers

Why?
I dont rate either in the coaches box and that Claremont description could also describe Perth in the past couple of seasons and where has Broadbridge been in that time?

Nah, dumbest post was by the Perth supporter who said Claremont stuffed up by losing Jarred Morton.....dropped him in 2012 to the Reserves and Claremont won both the Reserves & League GF....where did Perth finish in 2012?
Finished the 2013 season on top of the ladder, albeit bundled out in straight sets....where did Perth finish with Jarred Morton in the side???
Yes, you beat us by 11 goals, still only round 1, early ripe, early rotten.

Broadbridge was given a job at Perth as a mentor for Damien due to his better experience as a player and as a former assistant coach at AFL level.

If anything maybe Damien was giving Broadbridge too much credit and the best thing has been him moving on.

That's why it was a dumb post.
