Nice soft start for Claremont. Our side looks poor on paper. Even when we have been at our worst I can't remember a softer looking midfield then what weare sending out on the weekend

Monts by 30 points, interesting to see who debuts on Saturday. Bentley is supposed to be a gun player.

abbot is the one I want a look at j b. oozes strength, skill and toughness from what I can gather but has big question marks on the commitment side of things. hoping starcevich gets a game too, like to get an early look at him, that forward line needs some more height.

Thought the score did an injustice to the efforts of the Perth Football Club. Should have beaten us by 20 goals, not 11.
Have not seen a more insipid & disjointed effort since the 70s!

Thought our backline stopped Perth from being 5 goals in front in the 1st.
We kicked 3 goals in the 1st, nothing in the 2nd, 1 goal in the 3rd, then they pop up and kick 5 in the last when Perth had put the cue in the rack.
Heard Aitchison had a blinder in the magoos.Saw enough of Brooks to give him a crack in the league next week. At least he brings the ball to ground after a contest. Bring both Brooks & Starcevich in. Heads should roll after that effort.
