Now that the squad seems to be finalised i thought i would put down what i reckon our best 22 will be.

B: Anderson Franz Yu

HB: Laurie Cronin Holt

C: Fong Blackwell Davies

HF: Winmar Handley Orzel

F: Williams Hamp Bradshaw

R: Seaby Murphy Neates

int: Weedon, Smith, Taylor, Cameron

RES: Elisseou, Waterman, Bevan, Mcgovern, Lim, Breakey, Daniher, Yeo, Goyder, Sneeujwagt.


Fair bit of strength there but look vulnarable down the spine. Big ask for Richie Cronin to start his league career and hold down centre half back, Franz has spent a year playing country footy, Handley hasnt had to play key position for a fair few seasons, and Hamp is probably better suited to being that 3rd or 4th forward. Injuries will make it tough for us but i'm confident we'll have enough strength to have an influence on the comp again this season.

Tom Ledger has signed after being delisted, i'd have him in there b4 weedon. He can play forward or in the midfield.
Thought there was talk Tom Swift may play.

Forgot about Ledger. I would replace either Yeo or Smith with him, don't know much about Yeo until i see him play. I would keep Weedon in the side because of his size, big enough to pinch hit on some of the smaller key forwards in the comp. I reckon we'll see one or more of Richardson, Thomson and Andrews back later in the year.
Doesn't look like Swifty will be playing i'd say.

Heard from a good mate up Kala way that they were chasing him pretty hard,time will tell. Won't be surprised either if he doesn't take up the offer.

Good line up, expect Tigers to be well about the place. What if injury creeps up, this could pose a problem though
