You have to be invited to the table before you get a chance to choke.

For the Tigers fans it seemed to me that you just did not have the same level of desire as in past years, 3peat is very difficult to do!

I would like to ask one question of Mr Webb, was last year a bit being handed a team on a platter and this year having to work harder or just that WP and now us made it very difficult to paly your style of game.

In Webbs defence he didn't have anywhere near the playing list he had compared to last year. He did have a great team last year but it was their's to loose but he came away with the chocolates. This year they didn't look to be the un - beatable force they once were and were always vunerable. He was on a hiding to nothing just like Scott Waters was when Peter German left Subi when they were the WAFL force.

Nothing lasts for ever and the Tiggers have been a great team over many years but now its someone else's turn. I hope the Cardies come through as if it's the WC Royals it could be the start off a winning run ??? Long live the WAFL Mag 7 !!!

Just got back home from Perth, and witnessed, a very strong & determined East Perth give us an old fashioned hiding. It was as if when EP took a breath we scrambled and got back in touch only to be pushed away again to and 18 buffer as easy as you like and that was up to half time then they turned the screws as a good side should going into a GF.
Too good too strong It reminded me of how we used to play & wanted the win, no more, our era has past from a season that promised so much.

Best of luck to EP & WP next week hope its a cracker.

who would of thought prior to the EF game Claremont had had 2 losses for the season.....now they end with 3 losses on the trot, to three different sides......not too sure what Ames was talking about now........5 different sides beat CL this season.....reckon a few more will again in 2014.....

honeymoon period is over for Webb now......reckon a shed load of those CL boys will jump ship now CL premiership bandwagon has come to a stop.....for Webb the real hard work will begin.....hopefully he has more success than what Watters and German have had since they left the sanctuary of 3 peat Subi in the mid late 2000's.

Out of interest if EP win the flag this year, will WCE allow Dawson to give up his time and coach the state side next year?.....

Yep that was Claremonts last chance of a flag for a long time, a very different Claremont will line up in 2014.

WAFL fans should get ready for a very long period of EP domination, enjoy the GF this Sunday ( probably the last real one) and get used to EP being in the GF..just like the early 2000's.

Bazza we are not always on the same side but it would appear that the 2013 is a portent of what we can expect in terms of the dominance of a certain club from 2014 onwards. Considering that the host club alignment was only partially implemented in 2013 and that the Eagles had a significant number of injuries one can only wonder what chance the other WAFL clubs will have in competing with the club formerly known as East Perth.
