I heard East Perth put a silent bid in for it ;)

Bronte wants to advertise Holdens cos fords r like us not long for the earth

Geez Grump, I always thought Bronte was into Austin, Morris and Chryslers along with his mates Brian and Ken, hence the amount of East Perth players that were always employed at AMCAP-BBK.

As for Midway Ford they have been a fantastic supportive sponsor of Swan Districts FC.

Mike.

just goes to show all the comments abt Bronte not being a supporter of the wafl are just wrong, he evens supports other clubs in a all but backhander way, shame on all of you!

I wonder how many BHP shares he has, another way of support for the mighty swannies!

Personally I think Bronte has always been a good supporter of the WAFL. His financial support for his Club alone says that. He puts his Money where his mouth is. I remember when Access or now WTV had the WAFL ON show on TV. He provided most of the awards and 90% of the advertising e.g AHG.

I wouldnt take the remarks on Bronte seriously Mike as it is just friendly banter.

I know, so was my post! ;)

All I was getting at is hopefully even with the demise of Ford's Aussie manufacturing the WAFL clubs can still retain automotive sponsors - much the way EP have with AHG and their makes.

Yes like him or hate him Bronte has a good supporter off the WAFL.

Southside Mitsubishi have long been a great supporter of PFC.

I believe Bronte stepped in one year when they wanted to leave the relationship.

Long may that support continue.

AHG have plenty of brands in their stable.
