I reserve the right as the starter of thread to grant club knighthoods and peerages to certain players as appropriate. Must have played most of their football in the decade.

Corry Bewick
Peter Managlio (Sir)
William Duckworth (Sir)
Chris Stazza
Paul Mifka (Sir) the Subi supporters will throttle me for that award.
Dean Warwick
Craig Nelson
Don Hart
Craig Turley (Sir)
Dean Laidley
Rod Alderton (Sir)
Brian Adamson (Sir)
Ross Gibbs
Ray Holden
Derrick Kickett
Wayne Dyman

Chris Lewis also came out of WP's zone

There are some good footballers among that lot, overall, it is indicative of how the club did well considerring its relative lack of depth; it also explains, too, why the club recruitted heavily from Victoria.

Why not Sir William Duckworth (ex premiership player for Essendon)

AR I believe Derek Kickett was from Tammin which is in Perth's zone (not sure why the Demons didnt recruit him).
Brian Adamson came from South Perth in the old Sunday Football League.

LS -- you can give billie one if you wish. Sir William does have a nice ring to it, you are right
BH -- you have to wonder why perth never recruitted both players, although, as you know, when brian first started the demons had a strong side.

BH -- yep, 'David' it should read, ended up at South and then the Eagles, a good little player; Dan Foley was another player whom had a bit of ability, but never quite grabbed the competition by the scruff of the neck

I have changed Bill's to Sir WIlliam, as not only does it have a good ring to it, but as Ls and gtr have pointed out, it is an honour well deserved in his case.

Could the "junk yard dog" at least get an Order of Australia?
