How do you get rid of those icons next to the players?

AR I am not sure why you would expect any criticism about the team selected. Most of us would be too young to be able to make an informed opinion regarding Duggan Anderson. And I understand that it is a value judgment regarding the method of allocating points; we have traditionally been better at producing full backs than full forwards.

The vast majority of the players were part of our two golden eras.

No-one should be surprised as to how well Billy Walker polled using your criteria.

AR try inserting a space between the parenthesis and the number.

Swan 42: I agree with you; but would add, that I never saw players, such as Walker and Cable, so it is a very useful exercise for people such as myself.

If you were doing a criteria yourself, is there anything you would add, or, even take out?

Some of the players like Keith Slater and that era and before are before my time. Billy Walker was pound for pound one of the strongest players ever and would be have been an elite no matter which era he played in. When you hear some of the amazement in today's commentators when a player reads the ball off a pack is something that Billy Walker and others did many times during a match.

For those who were lucky enough to see the 60s/70s/and pre-1987 80s era we were very privileged.

One extra criterion would be a point for life membership - though most of them would be life members.

BH I thought about AA. The reason why I didn't mention it was that AAs were only selected after a carnival; so not many players would have had the chance to get an AA selection.

I am sure AR will consider it though.

Swan 42: Thanks very much

It is skewed towards goal kicking as you pointed out. One way you could bring the full baks and other backs into the formula is to take a look at individual clashes between the full-back and the leading full forwards.

For example, in 1963 Robertson averagged roughly four a game. What you could do is give a point to the full-backs , if they kept Austin to four goals or less in a game. In relation to Joe Lawson, he did this at least once during the season. I need to check the other two games.
