Well there it goes,,,,

So much for the AFL limiting it to North v Dogs and WAFL having it as a stand alone...

WAFL would be better now to avoid it and play the other days of the Easter break as it did traditionally

Agreed, back to the 2 games Saturday and 2 games Monday model for Easter I reckon.

Yep, we all knew it was only a matter of time before the AFL flood gates opened...

Only a matter of time before they hog into Foundation Day as well.

Doesn't bother me them playing Good Friday, but at least leave Foundation Day alone. That Derby is about the only tradition they have left the WAFL.

I don't think Subi and/or EP will be too chuffed about it.

BC I would have thought that the smart folk at EP and Subi would be able to use it to their advantage. Something like show your AFL ticket and get in free. The station is just down the road so it is not so difficult to stop off. Also the restaurants could jump on and offer a lunch special.

It is abt WAFL clubs seizing the opportunities presented.

Agree Grump we need to think outside the square. Maybe a wafl game that could be televised before the afl game? Anything to get exposure for the WAFL.

Agree Grump, assuming that this game is still fixtured for Good Friday, its a great opportunity for the two clubs, maybe advertise a lunch/football package along with a charter bus directly to the stadium after the WAFL game for a modest cost. I'm sure you would get some people who would jump at that.
