I note (with some pride) that the Subiaco Football Club has finished the 2018 home & away season with all three grades topping their respective premiership ladders - and huge congratulations on that.

Does anyone know if this has occurred previously in the history of the WAFL?

The next step - hopefully - is taking home 3 flags. Has this happened before?

I remember many years ago, Richmond won 3 flags on the same day in the VFL (sorry 42).

shit jack...reminding Sean the Bogan and his mates of these little tidbits will only fire them up to attack the Subi Footy Club, WAFC, Malcolm Turnbull and pretty much everyone else. What were you thinking man? ;-)

I reckon you are being unfair, BC.

I have no doubt 42, BH, SD et al will recognise the achievement, and give praise where praise is due.

Just had a scan through Ric's site Jack and I couldn't find any instance of 3 flags in 3 grades since the start of the old 3rds competition in 1957. I thought one of Perths flags in the 60's may have been all three grades but not true. There have been quite a number of occasions where a team has won 2 of the flags out of 3 but I couldnt find one where Subiaco have done it.

I think SFC should be awarded the Gavin Taylor Trophy in perpetuity.

Have they Bazza? Can you remember around what time? Might have missed that one.

In terms of ladder position Claremont finished top in reserves and league and 2nd in colts in 2011, also the same in 2010.

Just trying to research this.I'm not even sure that a Wafl team has had 3 teams playing on GF day.The double done by WP in 1960 Colts+ League. SF 1970 Ressie+ League.Claremont have done the double post 1987 two times.
But Subi will do something not ever done since the 3 grade format started in 1957.Watch out for Swans reserves side that keep winning narrowly.
Picked up an interesting stat out of this.Perth's colts won GF's 1959,1960.1961.1963.1964.1965.Runners up in 1962+1966.See why they where a power club in the late 60's+70's.
As Freeze pointed out the EF sharks had 3 teams play in 2012 on the final day.
