The side will start breaking up once Schofield goes.

Our best option then would be to appoint Horseley as Player-Coach

Rubbish Ark, they will break up when the money goes not when Schofield goes. It dumbfounds me that some of you out there still believe he draws people to the club.

A couple of years of financial losses forecast for Subi then it will be back to the same old same old is my understanding. A well run club that is very shrewd with its coin. Will dominate the WAFL for as long as the comp exists IMO. Completely agree it is not Schofield bringing blokes to Subi, it's the work done being the scenes and the winning player driven culture that keeps em coming. Hard to compete when your own clubs standards across the board aren't set as high. Good time to be a Subi supporter albeit in a struggling comp.

Leedy: On Schofield, you have misunderstood me; whatever I think of his record as a coach, his players are loyal to him, espcially the hard core local group around Horseley. The players whom get sick of him, either retire, or in the case of George Hampson, go to another club.

It is no different in this respect to John Todd at SD or Sir Alex Ferguson at M United.

On wet day Swans will be the team to beat Subi. Or Peel once the Dockers are out of the AFL finals.

Spot on Bazza, they should have made enough dough from Subi Oval to keep them from starving for a long, long time.
Dirty Weekender, when you say a couple of years of losses then back to the "same old, same old" for Subi, what do you mean - are you suggesting there is another seating deal in the pipeline?

what a silly question...Subi finished the 2008 season with a percentage of 188 but was still beaten during the year by guess who? as you well know by the Bogans of course. last year the team was by far the best in the comp but still managed to lose a game during the year so every team is beatable.

Let's start with this link: thewest.com.au/sport/subiaco-football-cl...season-ng-b88844966z

In 2008 Subiaco lost one game by one point in a season that did not have the host club alignment.

The only way you stop $ubi is to take their cheque book away from them.. that is the clubs life support system
